Yes. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are roughly 120 to 140 km apart, about an hour and a quarter to an hour and a half by road depending on traffic. The tours listed on this site start in Abu Dhabi; day trips that start in Dubai belong to the Dubai site.
Zayed International Airport is about 30 km from the centre. Expect roughly half an hour by car or taxi, longer in heavy traffic. Many tours collect you from the hotel, so check the pickup details of the option you choose.
A strict dress code is enforced at the entrance: shoulders, arms and legs covered. Reports on entry fees, Friday hours and loaned robes differ, so confirm the current rules on the mosque’s official website and with your tour operator before you go.
Currently yes, according to the museum: its visit page lists the galleries as open Monday to Thursday, with longer hours from Friday to Sunday. Older schedules and some ticket sellers still show Mondays as closed, so check the opening times on the museum’s website for your date before you book.
Most guides name the cooler months, roughly November to March, as the best time for the desert, the waterfront and outdoor sights. Summer is very hot; museums, the aquarium and the indoor parts of Yas Island are the easier choices then.
The offers in the current inventory run from about four hours for a dune-bashing drive to six or seven hours for evening safaris with dinner, including pickup and the drive out to the dunes. Check the duration of the exact option.
Not for the tours: many include hotel pickup, and taxis cover the city. Sights lie far apart, on separate islands such as Yas and Saadiyat, so plan the day by area rather than by list.
